Color Correcting Pressed Flower Workshop
Learn how to preserve flowers at their most beautiful and bring them back to life after pressing.
In this hands-on workshop at Blooming Meadows Farm, guests will learn the full process of creating vibrant, professional-looking pressed flowers, from start to finish. We’ll begin by teaching you how to select and harvest flowers at the proper time for pressing, a key step that makes all the difference in the final result.
You’ll then learn how to properly press your flowers and, most importantly, how to color correct them once dried. As flowers dry, they often fade, lose vibrancy, or develop brown spots. Color correcting is the technique that restores depth, brightness, and balance, transforming pressed flowers from dull and muted into lively, finished pieces that truly shine.
Guests will also learn how to design a pressed flower arrangement, focusing on composition, spacing, and visual flow. Each participant will create and take home an 11x14 framed piece featuring a color-corrected pressed flower design, ready to display.
This workshop is beginner-friendly, thoughtfully guided, and perfect for anyone who loves flowers, art, or preserving nature in a meaningful way. All materials are provided.
You’ll leave with new skills, a deeper understanding of flower preservation, and a framed artwork that captures the beauty of blooms long after the season ends.Rain Date: N/A
