Cleansing Blooms
Washed in the Blood of Jesus.
Continually Renewed Through Forgiveness.
Spring invites us to open the windows, clear away winter’s dust, and begin again. March’s Blooming Grace Retreat turns that familiar spring cleaning toward Jesus: receiving His cleansing, preparing our hearts, and returning to Him in ordinary life.
Make cold-process soap with a skilled guide, then visit all six reflective bath and household-product stations. Scripture, both songs, and private prayer weave through the making.
We bring the attitudes that need forgiveness and the hurts the world has left behind. Grief, anxiety, and harm received are not sins to scrub away.
Come as you are. You do not have to share your story.
What You’ll Experience
Cleansing Blooms brings the familiar work of spring cleaning into a gentle conversation with Jesus. His death, burial, and resurrection are the foundation; the crafts become reminders, not the source of cleansing.
First, make an individual cold-process soap batch under skilled supervision. Then visit every stop of the Cleansing Walk: bath bombs, lotion bars, a dry clay mask, all-purpose cleaner, scouring powder, and household cleaning scrub. Each sample is paired with Scripture, an everyday example, and a private prayer prompt.
Begin with All Who Are Thirsty and return later to Create in Me a Clean Heart. A brief Growing Season Teacup moment gently cleans the repaired cup while its cracks and gold seams remain visible.
There is room for confession, forgiveness, and hurts that are not your fault. Sharing is always optional.
Scripture Focus
Romans 6:3–4 · 1 John 1:7–9
Jesus gave His life for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Romans 6 describes being united with Christ in His death and resurrection; baptism expresses being buried with Him and raised to new life. We do not need to be baptized again each time we seek forgiveness.
Throughout life, we return through repentance, confession, receiving forgiveness, and renewed obedience. Psalm 51:10 becomes our prayer for a clean heart; 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us of new life in Christ.
In John 13:8–10, Jesus washes His disciples’ feet. His invitation is deeper than hygiene: receive His cleansing, then serve one another with humility.
March prepares our hearts. April’s Persevering Blooms continues this Easter foundation through the Holy Spirit’s ongoing work. Each retreat stands on its own, wherever Easter falls.

Your Journey
Your Creative Reminders
Make one individual cold-process soap batch, then a small sample at every Cleansing Walk stop:
Bath bomb
Lotion bar
Dry clay mask
All-purpose household cleaner
Scouring powder
Household cleaning scrub
The first three are bath/body samples; the last three are household products, not for skin. Each has its own label and care directions.
Soap is retained for curing and safety checks before pickup. Household samples are for same-day practice use; discard leftovers. These cleaners are not disinfectants.
The crafts become reminders of receiving grace and returning to Jesus, not proof of faith or finished healing.
A Moment to Pause
What needs attention today?
It might be impatience when a driver does not move at a green light. A harsh reply. Jealousy. Resentment that keeps replaying an old conversation. We do not need a major crisis to return to Jesus.
And some things we carry are wounds, not wrongdoing. Bring those hurts to Him without blaming yourself for what someone else did.
What can I confess, what forgiveness can I receive, and what small next step can I take?
